Colourblind
A 12-minute musical about an exhausted lawyer who rediscovers her childhood passion, risking her family's legacy.

Director: Kaitlin Manalili
Writer/Producer: Carla Aicken
Audrey Abrams, a young girl who wants to be an artist, is hanging up her drawings in her father's law office. Her dreams of opening an art gallery are soon crushed when her father, Mr. Abrams, tells her she must continue the family legacy of running the law firm. He puts one of her paintings in the trash, then the secretary, Ms. Jacobs, consoles Audrey by saving the picture.
Thirteen years later, Audrey is exhausted and running her father's law office. Everything changes when a young artist named Tessa storms into the office asking for help because a mural she painted is about to be destroyed, and she wants an injunction to stop the contractors from doing so. Mr. Abrams dismisses the case. Defeated, Tessa exits, leaving behind a picture of her mural, igniting a spark in Audrey she didn't feel since childhood.
