Carla Aicken

Co-Founder

Carla Aicken grew up in rural southwestern Ontario in a little place called Norfolk County. Ever since she was a little girl, she's loved storytelling. In 2018, she attended Sheridan College to study performing arts and gained a wide range of knowledge in singing, acting, dance, and various technical theatre elements. It was there that she grew into playwriting, and producing two brand new shows she co-wrote. Then, in 2020, she decided that film might be the right place, allowing her to learn more skills and dive into the art of screenwriting and producing her own stories.

Since then, she's gained experience in various genres, including documentary, music videos, narrative, even musicals and experimental. From festival runs to public support and awards, each project she's been a part of has seen its own version of success. Carla loves incorporating music in her films, so many of her projects are known for music that tends to stay with you even after the show is over. She has also lent her skills to content creation and live event production from rock concerts to symphony quintets, sports games, and corporate livestreaming events. She prides herself on being as versatile as possible, and loves a challenge.
